Recreational Therapist

Job description:

Our Recreational Director organizes recreational activities and programs, such as daily activities, classes and special events. This role is composed of physical activity and organizational skills, like leading exercises or planning activities and participating with our residents. This individual works directly with residents and Direct Support Staff during designated recreational time, and participates in weekly Treatment Team meetings.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree, Preferably in Recreational Therapy or related field
  • Experience working with youth
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities simutaneously
  • Ability to maintain a flexable schedule
  • Ability to climb flights of stairs, run, participate in activities with residents
  • Valid Driver’s License

Behavioral Technician

Job Description

Our Behavior Technician provides direct one-on-one behavioral interventions to teach communication, social, and daily living skills and reduce problematic behaviors in home, community, and school settings. This individual would be working directly with residents in a home setting, alongside Direct Support Staff. This individual is also responsible for keeping observational notes of behavior during the week and participates in a weekly Treatment Team meeting.

Qualifications:

  • Associates Degree or 20 College Credit Hours
  • Experience working with youth is required
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
  • Ability to maintain a flexible schedule
  • Must pass physical testing
  • Valid Driver’s License

Cleaning Specialist

Job Description

Our Cleaning Specialist are responsible for maintaining cleanliness and tidiness within our facility, ensuring a safe and sanitary environment for all residents, staff and visitors. This is an overnight position and would be working alongside a Direct Support Staff.

Ideal Candidate Qualities

  • Long-term care or housekeeping experience preferred
  • Ability to handle basic laundry machines and cleaning equipment
  • Attention to detail and thoroughness in completing tasks
  • Physical stamina to stand, bend, and lift throughout the shift
