Home Court Advantage, Inc. is a small organization designed and operated by a professional team of licensed psychologists and people experienced in helping boys make positive choices for their futures – no matter what decisions they may have made in the past.
Our Goals:
- To provide a short-term, community based program in a stable, safe environment that will empower people to gain and act on the skills necessary for a successful return back to their own home and community.
- To support each person we serve by focusing on his individual needs.
- To ensure that each program is designed to be flexible, respectful, and to promote individual dignity.
- To keep families connected whenever possible.
Ultimately, what we do is to build on individual strengths. By doing so, negative behaviors fade. We do not alienate; we include. By focusing on positive behavior, we assist individuals to give full direction to their own lives… and gain a positive vision for their futures.
Home Court Advantage, Inc.’s philosophy is that people learn best when they enjoy the learning process. A significant number of the goals of treatment can be addressed through therapeutic recreational activity and the skills of daily living.
Every child we serve comes to us with very different needs and skills. Therefore, initial evaluation plays a crucial role in planning treatment. Every plan is individualized, and is stronger for this personal focus.
